How can you remain silent, when women and girls are raped, tortured, their bodies carried around naked and spat on by bearded men shouting Allah Akbar? Then you can never call yourself a feminist again. Every day, including today, some Western hypocritical feminists should be ashamed of their silence on the horror that Hamas men inflicted to women and girls on 7 October. And that includes big names we were once proud of. Why are their lips sealed and their hearts of stone when it comes to the excruciating pain of Jewish women? The MeToo movement and so-called intersectional feminists do not care about all women. If they remain silent, it means they have lied to us about their commitment to women's rights. Their actions support the oppressor, not the victims. Also the EU money does. Indirectly. Those who say nothing about these women and the hostages, should not be standing here and speaking about human rights. When you are under attack by terrorists, a cease fire is like raising your hands when you are being shot at. Perhaps it is worth considering that a real lasting cease fire will start with bringing back all the hostages to their homes and the rapists to justice. Misinformation on social media - Understanding Gaza Download YouTube 2023-10-24 (#036) < Previous Next > Misinformation on social media, which is filled with rhetoric justifying Hamas' actions and demonizing Israel for defending its citizens. People claim Hamas' actions are excusable due to the "occupation" of Gaza. Israel, however, has not been not occupying Gaza since its 2005 withdrawal and giving over of the entire trip of land to the Palestians in a gesture for peace. After that handover, there was no blockade until 2007 when Hamas ws elected and violently took control of the Gaza Strip, persecuting minorities, executing political rivals and using international aid and equipment to attack Israeli citizens. At that stage, Israel, together with Egypt, established a blockade to prevent further terrorism. Nonetheless, international aid continued to be provided and Israel provided work visas for Gazans to come into Israel to work. Up until October 7th, there were 18,000 people coming into Israel daily. Many have denied the recent Hamas atrocities, using the antisemitic trope that Israel and the media are manipulating the media. Denying atrocities against the Jews has a disgusting history, including Holocaust denial. If you don't believe Israel, look at Hamas' own evidence: they showed maps of Israeli communities in the south incuding specific instructions to kill as many people as possible and kidnap civilians. Anti-Semitism is on the rise but there's no precedent to what has happened on university campuses, and university heads and leadership seem to be afraid to speak out unequivocally against it. Hamas murdered Jews, not only Israelis and the issue is affecting Jews aroud the world and the Anti-Semitism is unacceptable. In 2023, there's no issue or social justice movement that thasn't been addressed head-on in America. Why can't people stand up and say it is unacceptable to say "death to Jews, to Israelis, to Zionism". After October 7th, there wasn't even a 24 hour period of mourning before it became victim blaming and "2 sides to this story". It is not difficult for college leadership to come out and say outright that it was an unacceptable massacre, that they will do everyhting they can to protect their Jewish students, as much as their Muslim and other minority group students. To all pro-Palestinian activists out there Download YouTube 2023-10-25 (#043) < Previous Next > A message for pro-Palestinian activists. Your heart is undoubtedly in the right place. You don't want to see people suffering or dying. What we don't agree on is who to blame. If Hamas' attack had ended after attacking military bases, it's fair game in conflict. But then they went into the towns and massacred civilians, butchered, raped, decapitated them. Mass murder at a music festival. Does that aid the wellbeing of the Palestinian people? And moments after the massacre Palestinians went out into the streets and celebrated. Doesn't that make you wonder? After the media immediately blamed Israel for bombing Al Ahli hospital despite all the evidence of it being an Islamic Jihad rocket that misfired, they didn't retract. They didn't even check their sources. Besides, how can you count 500 bodies in less than an hour? Hamas denied targeting civilians at the music festival after the terrorist recorded their acts using bodycams, but Hamas says it's Israeli propaganda,although the evidence was not provided by the Israeli media. By all means, go out and demonstrate for the Palestinian people, but why tear down posters of hostages? Taking them down is not recognizing the suffering of innocents. If people display swastika symbols and call to "gas the Jews" is that still a demonstration for the safety of the Palestinian people? Or is it a call for the extermination of the Jewish people? Is that human loving behavior? "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free". Free from what? The Christian Arabs, the Bedouins, the Druze, all of whom identify themselves as Israelis? Or free from Jews? This is not about the West Bank or the 1967 borders or the occupied territories, this is about everything. If you do wish to erase all Israelis and/or Jews, doesn't that make you question your humanitarian intentions? Chants of "Intifada" are chants of violence. The Intifada consisted of a series of suicide bombings, run over attacks, shootings and stabbings. Is that pro-Palestinian or is it anti-Israel? Let's face it, if you were silent about the Hamas massacre and ask for a ceasefire only after Israel retaliated, if you ignore the hostages and deny the massacre even after they released all of their footage, if you were outraged when you believed Israel had bombed the hospital but remained silent when it emerged that the Islamic Jihad was the culprit, if you march with people calling for Jews to be gassed or calling for Intifada or "From the River to the Sea", try to think which side you choose to believe. If you answered yes to any of these questions, don't lie to us or to yourself. You're not calling for the safety of innocents, you're advocating for the destruction of the only Jewish country in the world. Moral compass Download YouTube 2023-10-22 (#023) < Previous Next > Dr Phil talks about the October 7th Hamas attack that was marked by murder, rape, torture and kidnapping and constituted the greatest loss of Jewish life in one day since the Holocaust. The Hamas invaders were not soldiers, they were assassins. The Hamas charter calls for the anihilation of all Israeli Jews and of Jews around the world. Sadly, some people celebrated the slaughter, including American universities where the acts are being endorsed and celebrations are being held. Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, UCLA and Stanford are high profile examples that should be raising concern, in that they have revealed a disturbing collection of intellectual rot. Americans throughout America have been appalled and shocked, while the leadership of these supposedly highly sophisticated universities are busy virtue signalling and coddling students who think that horrific, inhumane violence is social justice. They have forgotten that it is their job to teach their students to think and to test reality. They are demagnetizing the American moral compass instead of training tomorrow's leaders. Martin Luther King Jr spoke of suffering not only from vitriolic enemies but from the silence in inaction. Dr Phil denounces the actions of Hamas as sick, twisted, disgusting, inexcusable and unjustified, not the acts of honorable soldiers or freedom fighters. Did they stop to think how many of their own children they have sacrified in the retaliation Hamas has brought down on the Gazans? Allowing organizations at universities to celebrate those acts of terror without consequences consists of a miserable failure of universities in shaping and educating those students It is their job to teach critical thinking that leads to rational response. Perhaps training those students how to think would lead them to realize they are not supporting Palestinians and Gazans when they are supporting Hamas who are not even Palestinians? Dr Phil says America knows right from wrong and must stand up for what it believes and knows is right, and call out those universities, asking how any of this is acceptable and how it is not recognized as racist, and asking how they don't recognize this huge teachable moment on these students' journey. Israel is America's friend and ally and Israel needs America to be its friend in bad times when it is easier not to be. Good friends are those coming in the door when everyone else is going out.
